Empathy, authenticity, and empowerment are at the core of my practice. I believe in creating a safe, non-judgmental space where clients can explore their thoughts and feelings openly.
-
My expertise includes managing stress, overcoming anxiety, dealing with depression, addressing relationship challenges, and enhancing self-esteem.
I also specialise in therapeutic approaches like CBT, DBT, ACT, and mindfulness practices tailored to individual needs.
-
I have always been deeply passionate about helping others navigate life's challenges. Understanding human behaviour and guiding people toward emotional well-being and personal growth is incredibly fulfilling for me.
-
Witnessing clients grow, build resilience, and achieve breakthroughs that lead to a more balanced and fulfilling life. Helping others transform challenges into opportunities for growth is truly inspiring.
-
To empower you with tools and strategies for resilience, enhance self-awareness, and help to achieve emotional well-being.
Together, we work toward creating lasting, positive change and personal growth.
-
Outside of work, I enjoy activities that promote mindfulness and balance, such as yoga, walk in nature, painting and reading. I also have a keen interest in exploring social dynamics and cultural perspectives, which enriches my understanding of human behaviour.
-
Growing up in an environment where emotions were not openly accepted shaped my sensitivity and awareness of emotional dynamics.
As a child, I often felt deeply affected by the emotions around me and developed coping mechanisms to shield myself from judgment and shame. Over time, I came to understand the profound impact of these experiences and how vital it is to embrace emotions as a guiding force. This personal journey inspires my work, as I strive to help others understand, accept, and use their emotions as a roadmap to navigate challenges and achieve personal growth.

I have always been fascinated by the human mind and the environment's profound impact on shaping who we become.
I chose Psychology to help others heal from past experiences and reconnect with their true selves, enabling them to live more authentic and fulfilling lives.
-
The profound magic and power in the act of truly attempting to understand someone. This effort alone can foster a deep sense of healing and connection within my clients.
-
The heart of every session, and the foundation for everything else we work on, is to emotionally hold my clients. When they feel truly held and safe, it opens the door to self-awareness, meaningful insights, and the possibility of real, lasting change.
-
Outside of work, I enjoy travelling, bouldering, hiking, dancing (swing/salsa), and reading.
-
I have witnessed firsthand the profound impact that isolation and disconnection can have on mental well-being. This inspired me to dedicate my studies and career to fostering connection and helping people understand that they are not alone and that someone else cares.

I am a registered Psychologist and Sexologist and the Director of Tailoring Therapy. I believe that psychological interventions and therapy should be tailored to the person's uniqueness. In my approach, I aim to provide knowledge and education, develop awareness, and encourage change, if that is what you are seeking.
I believe therapy shouldn’t feel like a rigid corset or tight pants, but like something that can be moulded and shaped to suit you and where you are at, both mentally and physically. Just like the same piece of fabric will fit differently on different people, the same goes for therapy. Together we will work on creating the perfect fit.

Tailoring Therapy is based on learning scientifically sound and proven information about you. Developing awareness of how this new knowledge applies and is affecting you, and then choosing if and what to change and how to do it.

I completed my postgraduate training in Clinical Psychology in India and bring over ten years of clinical experience to my work. My approach is grounded in compassion, cultural sensitivity, and a deep respect for each person’s lived experience.
At the core of my practice is the belief that therapy should be tailored to the individual or couple sitting in front of me. I work collaboratively, integrating evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), mindfulness-based interventions, and relational frameworks.
I aim to create a calm, structured, and non-judgmental space where meaningful exploration and change can occur.
-
I support couples navigating:
• Communication breakdown
• Emotional disconnection
• Recurring conflict cycles
• Trust and rupture repair
• Cultural and intergenerational differences
• Life transitions impacting the relationship
• Intimacy-related concernsI also offer individual counselling where relational patterns, identity, or emotional concerns are impacting personal wellbeing.
-
What I find most rewarding is witnessing moments of insight between partners, when communication shifts, when empathy increases, and when patterns that once felt entrenched begin to soften.
These moments often create the foundation for meaningful and lasting change.
-
My goal is to create a structured and emotionally safe space where both partners feel heard and respected.
In relationship therapy, I aim to help couples understand the dynamics beneath conflict, improve communication, and rebuild emotional connection.
Where appropriate, I support couples in exploring intimacy and relational vulnerability with sensitivity and care.
-
Having grown up in India, lived in Kenya, and now practising in Australia, I bring a multicultural lens to my work.
I understand the complexities of migration, identity, intergenerational expectations, and belonging across cultures.
-
Living across different cultural contexts has shaped my understanding of identity, belonging, and relational expectations. Navigating migration and multicultural systems has strengthened my appreciation for how culture influences communication, intimacy, and partnership.
These experiences continue to inform my relational work with couples from diverse backgrounds.
Strengthen relationships, build stronger self-belief, or simply talk things through. We’re here to help.
